Hi I'm Bianca! I'm a Character Designer and Story Artist from Brazil.
As an Artist, I believe that animated movies can change someone's life. I pursued Character Design and Story for that very reason. I want to use a little bit of fun and madness to create characters that can provide courage to someone when they need it the most.
I always wanted to work in entertainment, but in Brazil, there aren't that many options for Art degrees. Instead, I got a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design. Design taught me that "form follows function". This experience helped me be open-minded and to problem-solve using shape language and colour theory. With my goal in mind, I took some online courses and attended Melies, for 3D animation, and Vancouver Film School, for visual development.
I am lucky to have met some great and passionate artists along the way that have shared their knowledge and motivations with me. As a result, I am a better artist.
Now I believe that form indeed follows function, but everything follows Story!
